"I was very happy with this affordable hotel that’s very conveniently located on Midtown Manhattan’s East Side. The full pod with the private bathroom was just right for me. It can accommodate 2 people but it’s most comfortable for one. There was enough room for my luggage, space to hang clothes, and under bed storage drawers. There’s even a little desk in the room. The bathroom area is a little unusual with a sliding frosted glass door that gives privacy when using the toilet but then you can totally see into the shower through a clear glass wall when you move the door. Again, it’s probably better suited for a solo traveler. I would’ve liked a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold but they don’t include that. You can purchase beverages and breakfast snacks in the lobby in the mornings. The rooftop deck was really nice to enjoy during the beautiful weather. The one thing that was a little disruptive was hearing other guests go in and out of the shared restrooms in the hallway, especially at times like 1am and 3am on a couple of nights and they were noisy, But overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would stay there again. I also appreciated the checkout time being 1:00pm, since it seems like most other hotels want you out by 11:00am. I did eat at Clinton Hall one night with friends and, though the food was fine, the music was blasting way too loud in there to carry on a decent conversation during dinner. I’d probably avoid dining there again."

"Nice rooms, great gym, super lovely terrace, but corridors can be a bit noisy and I heard they can be very picky or charge more for weekend access to the rooftop. But my trip was great and without issue. Bedroom door handles could be less stiff and doors close less heavily…"
