"May 19-22 2026. Uninhabitable: 30°C Rooms, Hotel-Wide AC Failure, and Phantom Management I checked into the Wyndham Gatineau-Ottawa at 9:30 PM on May 19, 2026, only to be casually informed upon arrival that the entire building's HVAC system had failed. I was handed the keys to a room sitting at an entirely unacceptable 30°C, with sealed, unopenable windows. Given the late hour and lack of alternative accommodations, we had no choice but to accept a cheap fan and endure a suffocating, sleepless...

Made a reservation for Zoe’s for lunch and table took 20 minutes to be ready, only for it to be for afternoon tea even though I explicitly stated we were there for regular lunch, and then the lunch itself took well over an hour to get served, with the waiter asking if I wanted it to be discounted...
