"Breakfast was decent, with oatmeal being the only hot option. There were plenty of breads/pastries, plus cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The rooms are small, but well designed to get luggage out of your way. The building is dated, but the rooms have been refreshed. The location at the base of the ski resort was great as there are numerous hiking trails. We stayed several nights in the summer."

"Lovely hotel ( looks more like condos) on the edge of town surrounded by trees and green. Staff was very helpful and available early and late. We had a suite (highly recommend). Very cute town, good restaurants, farmers market on Saturday. We took the train from Rutland to NYC. It was a 2 hour drive from Albany."
