"Hospitable people"

"It’s a nice hotel, I liked the decor and room was clean. I didn’t hear other guests apart from some occasional hall door slamming (but nothing too bad). However there was strange vibrating noise in my room that would go on and off every day, super annoying. Not sure what it was perhaps some ventilation installed on the roof or in the walls because in my room nothing made noise."

"Was given an accessible room so very low small sink, no shelf for products/my stuff, not the shower facilities I would normally want to have with a kind of wet room with curtain. Also had an adjoining room and the door between let a lot of noise through which wasn't great when they got up shortly after 5am and put loud rock music on as they were getting ready"

"Terrible property. Continental breakfast was really just stale bread in the fridge with a few Jams and some coffee. The bathroom was disgusting and tiny. The washbasin further so."

"Lovely older hotel with an amazing breakfast. Makes their own sausages.. uses free range eggs.. fantastic. Great location on the heath and about 10 min walk to blackheath station. They have traditional Sunday roast and afternoon high tea. Lovely hotel."

"I couldn’t stay for breakfast; I am sorry about this. I found an extremely professional and helpful team; room was spotless and front of house staff all very helpful and respectful. I was extremely comfortable in my room. Staff were very extremely accommodating about care of my bike and I particularly appreciate that. Thank you. "
