"We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. "

"We had a great stay, the room was spacious, and very inviting. It had everything you would need and included free coffee,tea,biscuits, crisp and toiletries, we would definitely return. The location to the town centre was great and it was close to restaurants "

"The hotel's location was beautiful due to the backdrop of the trees and hills and on the river Severn. Internally the hotel is very traditional with old features, fixtures and fittings. Single glazed windows led to it being cold in some areas, especially our room and creaking floors. Meals and beers were good and staff very helpful and polite. We wouldn't stay again but that's not a reflection on the hotel, it is just us wanting to stay in other hotels in different locations. Fully recommend...

"The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel and decor looked luxurious and 5 star worthy. Would definitely stay here again. It’s very close to the town centre and train station so a very convenient location. "

"Lovely stay overall. Room was cosy and comfortable. Had a good sleep. Only issue we had was that the room was slightly cold. Staff were excellent and responded by controlling the temperature of the room from their side and this definitely helped. They also supplied an oil radiator but this didnt work unfortunately."
