"Parking lot is small but we easily found a space in lot in the morning where we could leave our car until 4pm check-in. Very friendly staff with easy check in, completed upon arrival in the morning. We just had to return later to pick up our key. The desk clerk offered us an early check in at 1 pm for $25, which we declined since we knew we'd be at the beach all afternoon.
The room was small but very clean and pleasant, with some upgrades such as hard surface flooring, updated vanity area and rainfall-style showerhead. Shower was great with good water pressure.
However, the bath towels were thin and very small. The soap bars were so small, I would describe them as single use, at best. The mattress and pillows could use upgrading. The mattress was springy, although not particularly uncomfortable and did not slope towards the center like some older mattresses can do. The pillows were lumpy, uncomfortable and and needed to be replaced. Hanging space for clothes was minimal, just a rack on the wall with 2 hangers. No closet. Also, there was no luggage rack. We put our suitcase on the only chair in the room. The A/C was powerful and worked well.
It was perfectly fine for one night and the location was 10/10! Despite the drawbacks, I would stay here again, bringing my own pillow and soap next time. Worth it to be an easy 5 minute walk to the beach!"
