"When we checked in we learned the pool was unavailable and were a little disappointed. Our room had strand stains in the shower and on the walls and beds had something along the sides on the bed skirts. Maybe from kids dirty shoes? We asked for a different room and there was nothing available. We contacted Expedia the next morning and they found us a nearby hotel to switch to and were amazing. I think the hotel is going through a change of management or remodel so hopefully it will improve."

"Hotels need to list if amenities like a pool are not available"

"The hotel was extremely dirty. The first room they took me to was full of mold. It was so bad. It me. My daughter have an asthma attack .The manager changed my room to another room that wasn't as moldy but was still dirty. He refused to give me a refund."

"Everything was awesome at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was spotless. My only complaint was that they only had queen beds when I booked a king. However, that was attributed to booking on Expedia and we were given a room with a nice view when I mentioned it was my 35th wedding anniversary. A good compromise."

"We booked two carriage house rooms for a long weekend and it was amazing. Let's start with the location. White Point Garden is directly across the street. It is an easy walk to the Battery. About a mile to Pineapple Fountain, etc. There is plenty of street parking (permit provided on check in) so you could park and walk almost anywhere. Or catch the free Dash bus nearby.
