"Comfortable clean room. Wish I’d booked 2 nights! Enjoyed the free entry to the bird park next door. The lady who checked me in was excellent and helped me plan my journey to Zegerplas the following morning (arranged bicycle rent). The restaurant staff were excellent and the food was great. The check-out team were very patient when I checked out a little late, then left something in the room."

"Airport shuttle fantastic. Service phenomenal. Requests were fulfilled immediately. Breakfast buffet is a must. Excellent quality, quantity and variety. And the room, incredibly spacious, with lovely amenities, including an air jetted tub, separate shower and poo room. Then, the hotel has wonderful amenities including: large pool, steam room, sauna and tanning bed. I would definitely stay again at Van Der Valk in the future."

"Nicely designed room and bathroom and very spacious. The kitchette was lacking in amenities to be able to use it for proper meals (no toaster, limited cutlery/pans etc). Hotel is staffless and you get the key sent to your phone to enter the main entrance and room (requires internet), this was fine for us. The hotel is a great location, right in the middle of Leiden centre."

"The place is near to the AMS airport and the hotel staff was professional. Unfortunately, there are a lack of amenities (e.g. towels, hand soap, bath body gel, shampoo) in this hotel."

"3 of us flew in and out of Amsterdam from Calgary, Canada as part of a great adventure to Africa. The Hotel is clean, good location to the Airport, amenities were fine. Upon arrival on May 14th (staying 2 nights in 2 rooms) the front desk clerk saw that we were exhausted from our overnight flight and allowed us to get into our rooms early and not be charged. We VERY much appreciated that and I gave a good review because of it. On our return May 28 (1 night/2rooms) we rolled into Ozo exhausted...

"It was a Comfortable and quiet rest before a long flight home the next morning. The restaurant was good too. The only strange thing is they charge €8.50 per person to take the shuttle back to the airport. I didn’t know this until after booking. A taxi was half the cost."
