"Outstanding service"

Moxy Washington DC Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room and friendly staff. Great location within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, museums, and the metro line."

The Watermark Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent spot for kids and families."

Tempo By Hilton Washington Dc Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was wonderful, everything is so close that we wanted to see, the gym is 10/10, and the restaurant was wonderful, complements to the chef. The coffee shop was also delicious, I’d give it 4/5 stars. We had a small problem with our room, the front desk handled it well and made sure we were good. Valet parking was nice, it’s a consistent rate no matter if you get your car out 1 time or 100 times. $70/night was extreme but worth it to keep our vehicle safe (the parking garage is just for tempo and there is no self park)"

Salamander Washington DC
8/10 Good
"I absolutely love the Salamander. For the past two years, every trip to the DMV area requires a stay there. I love the cleanliness of the rooms are comfort of the beds. For the most part, the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. However, during my most recent stay I requested an amenity for my bath via the test messaging service and never received it. I’m not sure if this was a technology issue or if someone simply dropped the ball. Nevertheless, from now on I will call the front desk with any requests rather than utilize the text messaging service."

Gateway Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Check in was easy and the room was clean enough. However the neighborhood is very sketchy. Lots of people loitering. Will it stay here again."

Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The sheets were clean, but the comforter had strange spots between the layers. It was disgusting. You could only see them when holding it up to sunlight or a bright light. What made it even worse was that I only discovered it right before checking out, meaning I had slept in that bed for my entire stay. Some staff members were friendly, while others came across as cold. I appreciated their help with luggage storage and replacing room keys. I didn’t bring up the comforter issue because I was worried about getting my deposit back, and some staff members did not seem particularly approachable. The window view was okay. You can see the Air Force Memorial and the Washington Monument in the distance, but otherwise it’s mostly a highway view. I didn’t mind it. The room also had a nice sitting area with a comfortable couch, a modern table with plenty of charging outlets, and cozy lighting. As for the location, if you’re visiting Washington, DC, it’s quite far from the city. There are buses and trains available, but schedules can change, delays happen, and missing a connection can add significant travel time. If you plan to spend most of your time in DC, I would recommend staying closer to the city. The airport shuttle was a nice amenity, but with only one shuttle per hour, it wasn’t very practical for airport drop offs. The lobby was nice. The breakfast buffet was about $23, which isn’t terrible, but for the price of the hotel, I expected cleaner accommodations, friendlier"

Omni Shoreham Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"V nice. Especially the pool"

Hamilton Hotel Washington DC
6/10 Okay
"I booked a room for three nights in this hotel. The first two night I felt cheated the room I was given was small it was one of those adjourning rooms, the vents were extremely dusty, the bathroom mirror had a crusted custard-like stain that would not come off. The floor tiles were cracked and the wall paper was peeling from underneath the sink. Overall the quality of the room they gave me was poor for the first two nights. The shower had this very loud mechanical sound and on the second night I woke up to very loud drilling sound from the adjourning room...loud sounds trigger my migraines so I started having intense headaches. Immediately I entered the room on the first night I requested a transfer they said they had no rooms available; the manager was nice and professional but there was another black girl there that appeared mean and was unbothered. She was the one that gave me that frightful room as if she thought that was what I deserved. If that was the only room I saw in that hotel I would never have though of going back. On the last night I was supposed to stay there after complaining several times the manager put me in a nicer bigger room. It changed my whole perspective of the place. I also have very high regards for the manager who was kind and accommodative. They gave me a $75 room credit. Overall the first two night were dreadful and I felt like I had to endure but the last night was okay."
