"Just ok. Upon arrival we discovered fingernail clippings on the bathroom sink, dust & hair inside the dresser, mold in the bathroom, couch was falling apart, had a strange odor. House keeping didn’t come at all during our stay, even after I requested a clean. The maintenance man knocked on the door and then automatically entered while we were inside the room- which is a safety concern especially when traveling solo with two kid, the dishes in the cabinet had food stuck on them, a pregnancy test...

"Breakfast and parking ok. Room was dirty. Toilet running so changed me to the adjoining room so still heard the toilet fir two days. No cleaning while there for two nights (TP not replaced, trash not taken, towels not replaced) hair on carpet. Floor so dirty that taking shower after walking barefoot, water ran dirty. Microwave did not work. Refrigerator smelled of fish. Pool closed. Location, next to Fishin' Pig, and convenience to Charlottesville and Staunton were the main draws. Staff charged...

"Biggest problem and really it might have been circumstances, but it was a smoky 97f and the aircon was so loud there was no way to sleep without turning it off. Really good Mexican across the street."

"The Holiday Inn in Ruckersville is farther outside of Charlottesville than I would normally stay when visiting that city, but was necessary due to a concert causing all the rooms closer in to be booked. It was convenient to the main route into the city on 29, provided a very clean room and acceptable breakfast. The pool was outdoor and so not yet open at the time I visited."

"This was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. It was extremely clean! The free breakfast had many choices and the staff was available for help. The rooms were very spacious with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop and microwave. There were plates, glasses and silverware. They even left a minature bottle of dishsoap and a scrub mommy to clean the dishes! I highly recommend this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and we loved staying there!"

"There was plenty of available parking in the garage. The Bistro food was great. My only negative is the Bistro closed early. Staff was nice."
