"Hotel Henri is in a great location, with a nice restaurant and rooftop bar. The king room was small but clean and stylish. The bathroom and shower were particularly nice. The staff was helpful. One problem was that our TV didn’t work and there was no one around over the weekend who was able to fix it. The thermostat was also malfunctioning - the fan would not turn off - and a technician did fix that the next day, but was not able to get the TV working. The hotel should have offered us...

I laughed with the staff about wanting to stay here because my last name is Platt..... (a few letters longer). I had a magical stay. I enjoyed the rooftop. The service was prompt. The rooms were clean, the showers worked, i'm in downtown new york city, what else can you ask for? Next time I come to new york, I'm staying here especially now that I know the neighborhood better."

"Our stay was definitely just OK. I though Aloft was a higher level brand than places like Fairfield, Springhill Suites, Hyatt Place, Best Western...but it's really not. The room was tiny and there is no desk/chair setup—if you are looking to WFH in your room, this is not the place for you. The king bed was comfortable, the big windows are nice with the city view, and the nightstands have tech plugs (very convenient). "Sadly, I was in NY for my sister’s funeral and had to extend my stay. The staff was so very kind and accommodating knowing it would be best for me to be able to stay in the same room. Cassia and especially Lukasch were so very kind, compassionate and helpful. It was my second time staying there and I’ll definitely stay there the next time I’m in Manhattan."
