New Laund Hill, Whitewell, Lancashire. Looking west across the River Hodder, which runs alongside the Inn at Whitewell, towards New Laund Hill. This hill rises steeply to 229 metres above sea level. The buildings in the middle distance are the tiny hamlet of New Laund, just in the next square north. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in nice area. Room was clean but horrible smell in bathroom. Hotel is dated, could do with refresh but is conveniently located for our frequent meetings nearby.
