"We didn’t have breakfast but the choices for the evening meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Free on site parking with bus stops for Cardiff city centre a short walk away. Overall a great stay. Staff all very efficient and friendly "

"Great staff, clean and tidy room, good location with easy car parking. Great food including very good options for my coeliac wife. This is a quaint more traditional style of hotel with it seemed like only six rooms. You still get a room key attached to a fob rather than the key cards you tend to get nowadays and the flooring is a little sloped in places all adding to the charm. We had just a one night stop over but would be happy to return."

"For a budget stay in Cardiff this is perfect. An uber to and from town is around £6-8 depending on the time of day. Easy to access the room, youre given a code on the day of your stay. Friendly welcome from lady at the bar who showed me where to go and told me about local food options. I stayed in room B. Very clean, shower seemed brand new and spotless. Not the most powerful but a good consistent temperature. Good flush on loo (important to know these things!). Bed was comfy. Fulll size kettle,...

"Breakfast was very disappointing. Had an early flight so went down for breakfast at 4:30am. Got hot chocolate from machine -came out looking disgusting- very watery. Not a single croissant or pain au chocolate - staff member said we would have to wait 10mins on them coming out of the oven. Sorry but when already up early and in a rush for a flight this was unacceptable. Rest of selection very poor!"

If all Hotels had staff so nice every one would have no complaints . David and the receptionist staff brilliant and the lady in charge of the restaurant and breakfast room all staff First class ."
