"Stayed here Mon-Fri. My initial opinion of this place was very good. Staff were very friendly and appeared efficient. Check-in was easy. Rooms are very good with a ceiling fan and additional tower fan in the room which was helpful during the recent spell of hot weather. Breakfast was good. Couldn’t connect my laptop to their wifi so had to use mobile network. Food in the restaurant was good and delivered piping hot but service is slow and food is a bit pricey. "A fantastic place to stopover en route to Devon or Cornwall. The rooms are fabulous, large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lovely Cow Shed toiletries add a little extra plus point. "A big shout out to the staff which work here, very often you will stay somewhere and you’ll encounter 1 or 2 excellent staff with the rest just doing their job. This was not our experience at the Priory, every single member of staff acknowledged us with a friendly smile and an attentive attitude. We were a group of 4 and we all remarked how refreshing it was that we were welcomed and made to feel at home at the Priory. Keep up the good work and thank you."

"Overall I really enjoyed my stay. I booked the Manor House as only 1 night business trip but I would definitely come back with family. Great spa amenities and restaurant choices.
I gave 4 stars for two reasons.
I was not provided with a gown in my room and the spa didn’t have any spare so had to chase around the hotel asking for one. Big thank you to Adi on concierge, who ran to house keeping I fetch"
