"Very convenient location for a longish walk to restaurants and downtown. Owner is very nice and accomodated us with a late check-in (note that the latest check-in time is 3pm, I think), Large kitchen and dining on upper level with multiple refrigerators for guests. I didn't see a lounge area. Clean but a little shabby (old finishes, scratchy bedding). I would stay there again. Price was very good."

"Basic no frills stay. Clean room, adequate bed. Not cheap but Reykjavík is expensive so reasonable. Very very convenient to #9 bus stop for pick up for fly bus or other tours ."
