"Stayed in the women's dorm. Common area spaces (particularly the bathroom and showers) could be kept a little bit cleaner in my opinion, but everything else was spectacular. For the most part everyone was super kind and respectful - there was a moment where some Australian girls were arguing in the dorm past quiet hours lol but otherwise everyone was very quiet! "I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming.
