"This is a gorgeous historic property nearly 100 years old. With this in mind, my remarks are personal issues, not necessarily those of all travelers. I am extremely allergic to mold and mildew and just imagine a 100 year old building. While not visible, there is that “ old” smell that never leaves. This is particularly in the hallways and public spaces, NOT IN THE ROOMS. The property is beautiful, refreshing and restful. The back courtyard particularly was inviting. The room was clean....

"The room had an overwhelming mold smell that was covered by bleach. The bathroom door didnt close because the door had swollen from the moisture.
Bedding and pillows smelled of mildew.
