"This place was filthy. The lock on our door didn’t even work. The bathroom shelf was so loose I thought it was going to break. The toilet was dirty. The room stunk. There were people standing out side smoking marijuana and drinking. It was so bad, we only stayed one night if our two night stay. We chose to stay awake for 24 straight hours and drive home rather than staying another night there."

"We arrived on Sunday 6/28 and was greeted by Linda. The most pleasant person. Our room was clean but we were by the main air conditioning unit so every 15-20 minutes it would turn on and vibrate the walls. I was very loud. Parking was not the best. It’s very tight. Also, the night stand lamps did not work nor did both outlets behind the night stand. I would not stay here again."

"It’s an old motel, but the bed and bathroom were clean. Location was perfect for beach and boardwalk. Free parking was a nice bonus. Staff were super friendly and extremely accommodating."

"The rooms are spacious and clean. If you are not on the third level you can hear every step upstairs. Was noisy and unpleasant especially when you are trying to sleep and there is noise from upstairs. But overall we enjoyed our stay."

"Wonderful stay! Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Room was clean, nicely decorated and offered all needed item. Housekeeping was on site to assist with items or services on request. I Pool was clean, we'll maintained and offered many places to sit. Cyld use a couple of more umbrellas but all in all a very enjoyable stay!!"

"Our return ferry trip was cancelled, so instead of driving 3+ hours with my granddaughter, I figured we'd stay somewhere inexpensive. While there are features such as cleanliness and service that rate 5 stars, this is not a 5 star property. It is an extremely well maintained and clean 1950s motel, right across the street from the boardwalk and beach. "Watson’s would be lovely for a long term stay. The apartments are well decorated and well kept. The only complaint we had was at check in in the evening the receptionist was a bit difficult, but otherwise everything was excellent and we would stay here again. The cost of the room is well worth the environment. Three things to keep in mind; 1. The pool is in doors which we didn’t mind. 2. "The pools were great. The daily DJ was fun. The elevator was super slow. The bartenders are super picky about no outside food or drink at the pool. That’s tough when you have little kids and all they want to eat is snacks ! The location is great for the boardwalk and beach and it’s very accommodating for a large group. The front office staff were exceptional."
