"Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nice evening reception option. Afternoon popcorn and soda as well as 24-7 coffee and tea. Excellent hotel. Convenient downtown location. Will definitely stay here again."

"It seems my reservation was invalid. I booked well in advance so that my family and I could arrive on Friday, May 1st; however, the room was not ready, and there were no other rooms available. This was very frustrating, as the whole point of booking on time was to avoid precisely this situation. I had specifically requested two queen beds for the simple reason that the bed in the room they ultimately assigned me was extremely uncomfortable for the children. It is unfair that I drove six hours—all the way from New York to Pittsburgh—only to find that the room was unavailable upon arrival. Furthermore, although check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 PM, we didn't arrive until 1:30 AM on Saturday—even though the reservation had been in place since Friday, May 1st. To top it all off, the pool was dirty and poorly maintained, and the staff didn't even bother to greet us. For all these reasons, I give this place a score of -2."

"Staff was friendly but the hotel/room itself could use some work. Bathroom could’ve been cleaner & while we booked a smaller room, if the layout of the furniture were different, there would’ve been a lot more space - felt claustrophobic. Only one elevator that if you were going down, you couldn’t go on if it was going up which took forever. To add, we self parked instead of using valet (valet was more expensive but parked in the same lot we could self park in) but they failed to warn us that the garage we used to park, would be CLOSED for the marathon. We almost had to sit in the garage until the race was over (checkout was 11, race was over at 1) until a very kind garage worker let us out. Great location but needs work. "
