"I’ve stayed at the Seaway Inn off and on for more than 30 years. It’s a beautiful, updated smaller property that is near the Santa Cruz Pier and Boardwalk. It’s had different owners over the years and has been updated. The beds, and pillows are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and very quiet. You don’t really hear the street noise but can hear the waves from the ocean. Our king room offered a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee. The staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating....

"Gorgeous view from the balcony, highly recommend the cloud rooms. Lovely stay, helpful staff. Getting from hotel down to the beach in a wheelchair requires a bit of a maze but it is doable and the staff knew how to direct me through that maze without having to look it up which is always nice from an accessibility training standpoint."

"Location looks clean, like either new or newly remodeled. Parking garage is a bit built weird. Some parking spaces had the actual column within the space. Some huge spaces are marked compact. And driving around garage had weird turns. One of the elevators shakes a bit, that’s why I’m thinking building was remodeled, vs. newly built. It shakes while closing and makes this loud noise. "The staff was great. Property well maintained and location was awesome! My only complaint is that the room was listed as newly renovated and I didn’t see any kind of renovation. In fact the barn style bathroom door was chipped and kept getting stuck, the shower stall floor was dirty and the track moldy. The fridge cabinet didn’t close properly and was squeaky, the floor was dirty. And lastly the TV only had one channel that played “Little House on the Prairie” on repeat. That stuff was not...
