Beautiful accommodation, very clean with great amenities
We stayed as a family of 5 for a couple of nights and it was really lovely. Great location for the airport or day trips like quarry bank. There are many pubs / restaurants near by too. The place is spacious and peaceful. Nice and clean with everything you need including a decent TV. You are left to your own devices but someone is on hand if you need anything.
Arrived but door code didn't work. However phone answered quickly, staff friendly and helpful, problem solved straight away. Good place for an overnight stay, supermarket outlets at petrol stations nearby.
Good night's sleep.
We found the property very nice and well kept, our room as a bit small but had everything we needed for our over night stay and our English Breakfast was great with good presentation
This was a great stay! Very close to Manchester airport, and yet at the same time, in the middle of a quaint countryside field. Quiet room, pretty view, nice breakfast.
We recently stayed in cottage 12 , Oct 25, just for 1 night. The first impressions were very good with the accommodation being spacious and extremely clean. The bedding was crispy white and smelled wonderful, which is just what guests want. The towels were good quality, very fluffy and extremely cleanh. There were plenty of coffee and tea making supplies, which was welcome. Thank you.
Please be aware that the toilet, shower and 2nd bedroom are up a quite tight, steep winding staircase, which maybe difficult for those with mobility issues. See photos. Also, the accommodation is near a main road, which can be heard, but quietened down between midnight and 05:30. You can also hear the aircraft arriving at Manchester airport close by. Parking was plentiful, appeared secure and safe. All in all, we would recommend Rylands Farmhouse for the occasional overnight stay.
Great value. We stayed just for a night as we arrived late back in Manchester - self check-in process was easy. Room was tidy, clean (although bathroom wall close to the window did have some signs of mould) and breakfast in the morning was lovely. Parking was easily available. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay, we have stayed here twice before whilst flying from Manchester Airport. The accommodation is 7 mins dive to the airport. Rooms are good and comfortable, surrounding areas excellent, nice pub to visit up the road. Very clean and cosy. Staff are excellent, special mention to the chef for the outstanding full English breakfast. Highly recommend, will definitely stay there again. Many thanks.

Great Stay - Highly Recommended 💖
We booked this hotel enroute to a wedding. What a gem, excellent accommodation, big room & bathroom. Loved all the extras Nespesso machine, bathrobes, full sky package TV. The bed & bedding were great quality and very comfortable. Breakfast in the conservatory was delicious, full english cooked to order - what's not to like and all at a great price! We would have to hesitation in staying here again or in recommending it 👍👍💖

Good apart from leaking shower
We’ve stayed here 3 times and have always enjoyed it. The breakfast is excellent. Unfortunately our shower leaked although the door was securely shut so the bathroom floor bath mat etc got very wet. Apart from that everything else was great. Very good value for money xx
Nice venue and a good room which is well equipped. The bathroom (room 2) has some mould on the ceiling and peeling paint which is an effect of the steam in a small bathroom (hence knocking off a star).
Cooked breakfast was really good but there is no option for cereal etc. which I think is something they should also offer.
I would definitely use again.

Didn't sleep
Pleasant enough. Bed was far too soft to sleep - so not good! Could use a deep clean. Missing smoke detector was a tad worrying!
Well maintained, rural facility close to a not-too-busy road. Bathroom up the stairs in the loft. Maintenance needed for the hot and cold faucets in the bathroom sink. Hot water was running when we got there and difficult to turn off. Large, clean, neat room. Breakfast was well prepared and presented in a pleasant conservatory. Impersonal, visit with only interaction with staff was with the chef/waiter and the cleaning staff upon leaving. Would stay there again.
Lovely grounds, easy parking and convenient for airport. Nice pub nearby for dinner (was a recommendation from staff). Room very small as expected. A couple of drinking glasses would have been good. Unfortunately the bathroom had water and mould issues. The skirting boards are mouldy and deteriorating and there is mould on lower walls. There is no way you can open the shower door without getting lots of water on the floor. The water in the shower in Room 4 was scalding with no way to cool it. Yes, we didn’t call anyone, we had driven all day and had an early flight next morning.
Great cosy cottage, perfect for what we needed. One of the beds could do with an updated mattress & Shower a clean but overall great stay and would stay again.
