Amazing place to stay. First time staying in a B&B having favoured hotel stays in the past and what a nice change in made. From the warm and friendly welcome and throughout the 3 day stay everything met or exceeded our expectations. The room (Burley) at the top of the house was amazing with a roll top bath in the room, the most comfortable of bed and just the ambiance of the house made the experience even better. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were super friendly too.

Lovely little hotel, bed was really comfortable which I think is the most important thing. The breakfast was also really good. The hosts were really helpful and polite. We only stopped for one night to break up our long drive to Scotland. If we ever go back to Bowness we would book this hotel again, real value for money also.

Upon arrival, our host quickly checked us in. The room was clean and comfortable. The property is conveniently located between the town center and Lake Windermere. We used it as a base to get to Helvellyn for a great day hike. The breakfast room and breakfast are wonderful and well worth the sitting. Overall a wonderful experience!
