Surf Motel and Gardens
8/10 Good
"Pretty good for the price. The gardens add charm to this old motor court style motel. It could use a few updates and repairs (mainly cosmetic), but the room was clean and quiet. They provide a basic breakfast - toast, cereal, packaged muffins, fruit, oatmeal, coffee and juice - no proteins. Bed was a little soft but overall the room was comfortable and met our needs. Only complaint is that, when we checked in, we were told our room may or may not be ready and the front desk person had "no idea" when it might be ready. She didn't seem interested in checking for us. All the staff we met was just so-so. Not particularly helpful or friendly. But overall we had a good stay and would probably go again if they keep the prices down."
Beachcomber Motel Fort Bragg

"Good value"
Appellation Healdsburg
8/10 Good
"The only reason I didn’t give 4starts was we had to wait almost 3 hours to get into our room, and I was traveling with my 87 yr old mom and she was very tired after a long travel day. I guess they were short staffed that weekend. But other than that I would def go back, it’s peaceful yet close enough to downtown healdsburg. Great restaurant and rooftop bar. Great get away"
Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country
8/10 Good
"Great location. Clean rooms, lots of parking. I was surprised that parking cost an additional $24 a day and also no complementary breakfast."
Hotel Yountville
10/10 Excellent
"Laid back casual upscale spot. Very relaxing."
Seabird Lodge
8/10 Good
"All good. I would stay there again. No problem. Spacious rooms, everything was in very good shape and clean."
Flamingo Resort & Spa Santa Rosa Sonoma, Tapestry by Hilton
8/10 Good
"We love staying at the flamingo! Their pool and hot tub are well maintained and spacious. You can also go to the health club and spa to use the saunas. Lots of families with young children were there but this was our first summer visit. If you prefer a kid free environment visit during the week when school is in session. We are already planning our next girls trip. Close driving proximity to shopping and restaurants."
Harbor Lite Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"wow, views were great from the room balcony. short walk down the back trail to eat at the boat dock restaurant, then took a little stroll toward the ocean to see the waves crashing. saw seals in the harbor playing around. convenient location to beaches/ attractions."
Heritage House Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Heritage House the first night of our families Pacific Northwest road trip traveling from San Francisco to Seattle over the course of 9 days. My wife and kids said “Dad is 1-0 for places to stay”, Dad for the win thanks to Heritage House. It was absolutely charming. Stunning cliffside views from our back room porch. The beds were so comfortable, I was able to sleep a solid 10 hours, which never happens back home. We had the most delicious dinner at their in-house restaurant. The Alaskan Halibut special while listening to an extremely talented local musician sing while we dined, made for a very memorable evening. Breakfast in the morning was super delicious and included with our nights stay. I give this place 6-Stars and will plan on staying here again any time we come through as a family. Thanks so much from the Hall Family."
