I've stayed here many times, yet each time seems to be a little less than the time before. My room keeps getting downgraded, the service is not as great.
For this past stay, the front desk clerk was not very patient. Not rude, but not accommodating either. He seemed bothered that I was checking in past 6pm and not parking in their secured parking lot. I was literally parked 2 car lengthens from the front door. I had every intention of moving to their lot the next day, when it was light outside. He seemed annoyed by this.
My room included a sofa with an old, dingy couch cover. Not terrible, but not charming. The curtains didn't close all the way so the light from outside kept filtering through.
A few minor tweaks will make this hotel amazing. I get it, we all have bad days, but this is a service role. Remove furniture that is too old to keep. Install black out-pull down shades in rooms near flood lights.
Location is exceptional.
Super fun block on the older side of Santa Rosa.
