"Due to last minute changes in my itinerary, I had booked a last minute stay at this hotel, and when I arrived (11:30pm), the doors were closed, and eventually managed to talk with reception via an intercom system. With a non-interested rude voice, the man at reception simply said I cannot see your booking and to go away, even though I was trying to show the booking reservation confirmation and number through the camera of the intercom. "The only negative for this hotel is a lack of parking near, which, to be fair, the hotel very clearly communicates to guests. This proved so inconvenient that we moved to another hotel for a return stay we had planned. Otherwise absolutely no complaints - a clean, comfortable room with nice kitchenette and BONUS in room laundry which was awesome during our extended trip to Australia. "I had a great stay. Relatively quiet despite being close to the hustle and bustle of the city and bars; centrally located; easy in and out; and the rooms were small but well stocked. Close to tons of food and entertainment options. Will definitely be choosing Alex Hotel first if a need arises to repeat my visit."
