"The Saint Kate is in a great location just one block East of the River Walk and less than six blocks North of the Milwaukee Public Market. We were treated to a glass of sparkling wine when we arrived and the valet staff took our luggage to the room while we checked-in. Check-in was easy and fast. The lobby bar had live music and was a fun place to grab a quick drink or eat lunch or dinner (the burgers are very good and the pizza is excellent). The public floors of the hotel contain an eclectic collection of modern art and each guest room has its own unique art. Everywhere. We had a "Deluxe Room" which I think are a little bigger than a standard room and have a river view, however, it wasn't one of the special rooms fully decorated with music paraphernalia. The room was good-sized with a comfy bed, full-sized couch, reasonable closet space, and a nice bathroom with dual shower heads. Every room also has a vinyl record player. My only complaints about the room were that the TV didn't tilt on the wall so it was difficult to see from the couch, the wall was a little thin so I could hear the TV of the guests next door, and the selection of vinyl was too limited. The breakfast in the Studio Restaurant on the 2nd Floor has an excellent brunch. We only ate there once but we really enjoyed it. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. They really made us feel welcome. The gym has free weights and machines. There is no pool. Overall, the Saint Kate is a great experience and value."
