"When I booked, there was no indication that the property would be undergoing renovation work. When I got there, Reno work was heavily underway. From approximately 9am until 6pm every day, there was drilling or scraping, tools dropped, drywall and other debris taken down the elevator all day long. "This is my preferred hotel when travelling to the Louisville area. You will not find a better hotel in this price range. Also it is just 5-10 minutes across the bridge to downtown Louisville. Clean, nice rooms, quiet and safe."

"Upon entering, there was a noticeable foul smell. The tables were not clean, and we also found cigarette burn holes in the comforter. Because of that, we ended up going out to buy disinfecting wipes, air freshener, and even a blanket so we felt comfortable enough to sleep. We honestly turned it into a “make it work” kind of night and still had a good time together, but cleanliness and upkeep definitely need improvement. Wouldn’t choose this location again. "
