Salmon main dish was dripping in very salty miso and soy sauce. Restaurant was v busy and we were advised that there could be a wait for food. "not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"A 'fairly' modern hotel which is generally well decorated and furnished. Our room was quite comfortable, clean and with tea/coffee and tv. Reception on the TV was not good. Dinner at the hotel was tasty and well cooked as was breakfast."

"It's a lovely building close to the M11 in lovely grounds with parking. What I didn't like was check in at 4pm, it's out of step with most other places which are 3pm. Most hotels can get the rooms ready 11-3pm. The room was very small and the style was very dated, the rooms away from the main building are not well signed and a room for 2 people had no hand towels, 2 bath towels and the only toiletries was a minuscule bar of soap, no shower gel or shampoo. "The hotel has only been open about 6mths. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was just like brand new. Shower was powerful. The location is prefect for exploring Cambridge, only about 5-10 mins walk from the centre but the design of the rooms shelter you from any noise from the main road. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The only disappointment was the breakfast, having pre paid for breakfast, found out they only offered a very limited cooked options (fried...

"Soooooo good! This hotel is located perfectly for the central colleges and river. It’s also a very short walk from Park & Ride bus stops if you come into the city using P&R. The communal areas are great with lots of food and drink options, plus plenty of seating. Lovely vibe in there. Bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept very well. There is a modern clean bathroom and well equipped small kitchenette. Highly recommend for a trip to Cambridge."
