"I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. First, there is no hot water unless you shower at odd times, because the whole hotel seems to share one domestic-grade hot water tank, even the en-suites. We were there in the off-season, so I cannot fathom how anyone takes a hot shower during peak season unless they coordinate with every other guest in the hotel.
