"Bugs in the bathroom and inside the mini refrigerator though only had to stay for one night. But still $200 for that was absurd even if the booking was so last second. I wish I took pictures of it all but sadly didn’t"

"A beautiful location on the river. The common areas of the hotel are very nice. Yet, for $450 a night the rooms are nothing special and need updating. Prices of Restaurant starting at $68 and bar are also extremely expensive.My college friend and I stayed 5 nights to celebrate my birthday. Before booking I specifically called about sitting in the outdoor area with our beers and smokes and was told yes it's allowed. "The hotel itself was fine. However in the middle of the night the couple in the room by us were banging and creaming until about 2am which freaked my daughter out. We called security and were told the screaming and banging was because the guest was trying to get inside the room because his partner was not opening the door which was bolted and they needed to make sure he was safe. It was wild, scary and unsettling and did NOT provide a comfortable experience. The drama with this couple counties...

"The rooms felt super dated and very small. It was very underwhelming property for being an intercontinental. The bathroom was tiny, with dated tubs and curtains. The sink vanity had barely any space to put anything. Felt a bit claustrophobic in the room. The price point was not worth it at all, yes it’s on Michigan in a central location, but there are many other hotels in that area at the same price point that are nicer, cleaner and newer."

"The room was large and comfortable. However it was located next to the elevator and so there was constant noise because of that. The plates, glasses and mugs were not enough for three guests - we had to ask for more. The air-drier provided was not working. The location of the suites is nice and very close to bus service. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I would describe it as average at best. Coffee was awful, from a 24-hour dispenser located in the lobby. Virtually undrinkable....

"The staff were not helpful at all. The night lady was asleep when we got back from a concert and we had to bang on the windows to get her to let us in the hotel. And then we asked for a late checkout and they told us no. They didn’t even look to see if the room was booked. Just no."

"I booked three rooms at this hotel for a speacial occasion trip to celebrate a graduation. At check in I asked if one of the rooms could possibly have some kind of view of the city. I was quickly told it was not possible as the hotel was sold out. I was very sorry that out of the 100's of rooms in the hotel they could not have accommodated even one of the three rooms booked and the check in clerk was not friendly about it.
