"We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. "

The only negatives was the room we had was facing the inland road side of the hotel was very noisy in the day from traffic and appeared to be no air con in the room . "We had a fantastic 2-night stay at the Moxy in Plymouth. The location is absolutely perfect and made exploring during our short trip incredibly easy. "This is a beautiful property set in the Devon countryside, on the edge of Dartmoor. It has beautiful views over the valley and you can sit out in the garden while you admire them. The house is really old and well maintained, full of traditional wooden beams. The breakfast is really nice as well and you can pre-order hot food. I would recommend it to anyone."

"We had a lovely stay at China Fleet Club. The staff were professional, friendly, and always happy to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well presented. Unfortunately, we had no hot water when we arrived, but after reporting the issue it was fixed within about an hour, which we appreciated. I also had a massage during our stay, and Emma was wonderful – very professional and made the experience incredibly relaxing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would happily return."
