"They are a little bit behind"

"The room was equipped with everything we needed . The only thing is that could be improved were the pillows- very lumpy and I was not about to try and contact housekeeping at three in the morning. Also some grout in the bathroom floor needed repair. The food in the restaurant was good and the staff everywhere were delightful."

"The whole place needs a refurb. My bedroom could have done with a clean and the toilet actually needed flushing before I could use it. The stairs and corridors wer dusty in corners and one corridor had a peculiar smell. I know it was an old building but I’m sure even old buildings could have lifts installed and maybe ramps and here one or two steps are. Not good value for money and the breakfast certainly wasn’t. "No hot water in the morning, bathroom sink to small for taps ended up soaked on 2 occasions. Security chain taken off door. TV very small however staff were very professional and extremely helpful nothing was to much. I think hotel very tired needs updating and security on doors."

"The room was a good size, the bed very comfortable the bathroom was good sized. The shower was over the bath with shower curtains, not great for older persons. There was a warning sign about the heated towel rail which was not heated.A request to the duty manager to turn it on, produced no result, nor a report back. "Excellent food in the restaurant and very helpful staff"

"This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym.
