"I’ve stayed in a a lot of hotels but this is the very first time I’ve been given not one but two partially cleaned rooms. 11pm check-in. First room had one stripped bed and one made bed, and ironing board and iron sitting out, and dirty towels on bathroom floor and dirty bathroom. Went down to desk and then gave keys to a 2nd room. 2nd room had two made up beds but pillows without cases, garbage on nightstand, bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. "Been staying there since I was a kid. The restaurant looks great and has a very cool vibe. Room was clean and comfortable and parking very accessible. Staff was great. Watching the view from the restaurant while you rotate around is a must while you dine."

"This is a pleasant modern motel on the outskirts of town. It has nothing special about it -- the room is basic, and functional. There's no in-room coffee or water heater. Also no closet or drawers for clothing -- just some external hangers. It does have a gym and a pool -- I used the gym and it was small but the treadmill worked fine. Breakfast is standard motel fare. "Room was clean and very spacious. Comfortable beds and quiet hotel. Didn’t really see any staff. Gentleman at desk not very helpful or knowledgeable about bussing for the marathon. I definitely would stay here again."

"Lake view room has a gorgeous view; staff were friendly; hotel is very welcoming - rustic looking. We LOVED the breakfast- WOW - have never had such a good complimentary breakfast. The fire pit was the awesome. Great shops and restaurants close by. Short day trip to see waterfalls and do some hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We spent our 5th anniversary there. The furniture in our room had seen better days, which didn't matter to us, other than that everything else was really good. There was a bartender in the lounge on Thursday night 6/11 with a unique name which I can't remember, who was great! We got in late, and decided to have a couple drinks before bed. He made us feel welcomed, and was fun to talk to. He seemed to really enjoy his job. We will be back next time we are in the Superior/Duluth area."

"The room smelled horribly of urine, the door to the room would not lock or even stay shut. The area is sketchy. Did not feel safe or comfortable, moved to another hotel and did not get a refund. Terrible on all accounts."
