"From start to finish, Tracy and Jerry could not do enough. Their beautiful home was so welcoming and comfortable, it was a pleasure to stay there. The breakfast was extensive and fabulous and so tasty too! They had covered all the small touches and nothing was too much trouble. "Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

"Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, wunderschönes Gebäude mit viel Charme. Die Zimmer sind groß und sensationell eingerichtet. Wer auf alte Gemäuer steht, muss hier einfach übernachten. John hat ein tolles Frühstück gezaubert und ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Absolut empfehlenswert, jederzeit wieder!!!"

Wonderful couple nothing to much trouble stayed a extra night because it was such a chilled out place to be will definitely be coming back.David cooked us a meal on both nights the curry he made us was amazing thank you to you both for your hospitality. "We stayed overnight as a rest stop on a long road trip. We had everything we needed, extremely friendly and efficient service. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean. The best part was a freshly made, hot breakfast in the morning. I mention that it was hot because most times you get a lukewarm breakfast but this was piping hot and freshly made, which made a big difference to tired travellers."

"Chris and Val are excellent and friendly hosts and can provide you with a plethora of local information on places to visit and eat at. It was a pleasure to be able to stay with such a nice couple. The only thing to note is the Shower Room is a little tight but, you do not stay in the Shower Room and this should not put you off staying. Once again, thank you to Chris and Val especially for the excellent and plentifull breakfasts and scones. "

"Lovely place with beautiful authentic styling. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Super breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room that also does afternoon tea. Lots of hot water, great selection of tea / coffee - with biscuits. Bed comfy enough. Road noise may bother some. Close to Chester and Cheshire Oaks outlet - but you would need a car or taxi."
