"Stayed at the River hotel for a concert in Chicago. The property itself is in a perfect location for downtown scenery. The room was clean and offered great amenities. The staff was helpful and even explained some tips and tricks to get the uber faster and how to get to the stadium. Overall a great stay"

"Front desk people were not at all welcoming and helpful. Especially the two gentlemen.I paid almost $400 for a single night for the room. Their behaviour will make me think twice before I book this hotel again. Location and amenities were okay/good."

"Great location to downtown core and river walk. Rooms are modest in size but in line with city hotel. The bed was extra firm, not terribly comfortable, and air conditioner runs nonstop and is quite noisy. Overall a decent experience for a fair price on a holiday weekend when the city was bustling with visitors."
