The hotel is located very closed to major tourist attraction and has great view of the Gulangyu island. The room is clean and spacious. We tried the lunch buffet which is fantastic, it is a bit pricey 278RMB but we got 50% off coupon as a guest so it is worth it.

The room is larger than normal and clean. The staff are very very helpful. When there was cigarette smoke smell in the room, likely from the aircon vents. The staff tried to address the complains immediately, by providing an air purifier, offering for a room change, airing the room and providing a diffuser. The glass panel can also be cleaner. On balance, I enjoyed my stay and would love to stay here again.

Second visit in a month. Booked 3 rooms both times. The Gulangyu view rooms are spacious and have good view of the island. Location is convenient. The experience of our last visit was better than this one. Check-in staff was less friendly and lack of pleasantness during the whole process. Breakfast was crowded with long wait to enter as the hotel was quite full during the Christmas holidays.

This is my 4th stay at this hotel, for 4 nights this time. Everything is excellent to me. Buffet breakfast has so many varieties that’s I can taste different food every day. The swimming pool is the best among all other hotels that I travelled in the past. Rooms are big, beds are comfy. I’m travelling in a group of nine and all of us are very happy and satisfied. The Chinese restaurant offers local delicious food as well. We will definitely stay here again when I travel to Xiamen.
