"Great place"

"The kitchen staff was friendly but offered omelet that was cold and needed to be microwaved. The sausages were cold as well. The room had dead insects on the window sill. A chair that was weathered and too low. The shower was the nicest part. The hallway smelled of marijuana (like skunk) and the garbage was in the hallway near the elevator for two days!"

"The staff at this property was great - helpful and caring. The property has had some upgrades including rooms. Our rooms had new floors and new bedding that was really comfortable. AC worked well. Breakfast was good. A great value option."

"It was a delightful stay"

"I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. From the moment we checked in, there was a strong, unpleasant smell throughout the entire building that resembled stale cigarette smoke. When we got to our room, things only got worse. The sheets had multiple visible stains, including a large one that appeared to be hidden under two layers of fitted sheets, which was especially concerning. There was also a white substance dripping down the nightstand, a broken closet shelf left on the floor, and even a hole in the wall. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained. We brought this to the staff’s attention and were shown two additional rooms, but unfortunately, neither was acceptable. One of the alternative rooms had a strong odor resembling dog waste, which staff acknowledged may have been due to a previous guest with a dog. The third room was also in poor condition. The hallways were dirty as well, with visible dried stains that looked like spilled drinks left sitting for a long time, and the floors throughout the property didn’t appear to have been vacuumed in weeks. There was even an air freshener hanging from the AC unit in our room, which felt like an attempt to mask the odor rather than address the underlying cleanliness issues. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend staying here."

"The yard wasn’t maintained at all .. the elevator felt as if it could fall at anytime .. there were not one but three dirty rugs in the elevator as well .. the room was very dirty as if it had never been swept …"

"THis is the second time we have stayed here, the first being a couple years ago. Very nice place to stay, great location for our trip to the Darke Co Wine Festival. Good parking. Staff was helpful. Maintenance guy went above and beyond for us. Appreciate that very much. Room was clean and bed comfortable."
