"Stunning building, beautifully decorated. Great location, right on the high street. Well equipped room. Firm mattress (perfect for us) but pillows were quite hard. Breakfast service was slow, full English was tasty, but could have been hotter, good continental choices, but tea was really weak (1 teabag in a full teapot!! ) All in all, a lovely stay, staff were friendly & we would definitely stay again. "

"The hotel was beautiful. The room was quite small but perfectly formed! The pool was great but the area was quite cold because it’s attached to the outside sauna and hot tub. Would definitely go back. "

"Room was great, lovely spacious bathroom. The beds are really comfortable, decent matress, which is sufficiently soft to not hurt my joints from arthritis. Friendly staff, good car parking. Good breakfast, where they are happy to mix and match for you."

"Bedroom beautifully presented. Tea, coffee and water in the room. Comfortable bed. Warm and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked good choice of drinks and cocktails. Breakfast, full breakfast included, delicious and lots of choice, eggs benedict, eggs royale etc. Would definitely recommend and stay again. There was a loyalty scheme but they didn't explain it so i have probably lost out on a lot of points. But otherwise excellent. "
