The best thing about this place was the staff. They were friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked into the place we knew something was off. A folding table was being used for reception as the lobby was in the midst of a renovation. When we asked about that we were told that the rest of the hotel had already been renovated. The room had been freshly painted but the furniture is beat up and the door jambs are rotting away. The door to the room wasn’t even square. The room itself was not particularly clean. There were two lamps in the room and, aside from the bathroom and the room vestibule, that was the only light in the room. One of the lamps didn't work. Our TV also didn't work. When I tried to use the room phone to call the lobby, it didn't work either. I searched for a phone number on Google for the front desk and couldn't find one anywhere so we had to go to the lobby to report these things. Then, at 5:30 in the morning the people in the next room started to have a screaming match and, again, we couldn’t call the lobby to report it. Breakfast was meager as all they had were bagels, bread, mini-muffins and a couple of cold cereal choices. Obviously, I don’t recommend staying here.
