"Stayed here a few times now, as it allows access by car into York. However it is isolated with regard public transport, and the nearest village is a hazardous and long walk. There is no denying that is good value for money in comparison to other places to stay."

"Really smart hotel, great staff. Breakfast was ok, but cooked items kept in casserole dishes with lids on, so difficult to serve yourself and hash browns were soggy. Great location for touristy stuff or shopping in York."

"Good place to stay for a one night stay. Very close to the city centre, less than a ten minute walk to York Minster and so a good base for our trip. Nice clean rooms, good size. Bathroom was also clean and bright. The kettle was very mouldy though which was a shame so couldn't use this. The car park is also very very small and compact and didn't seem as secure as expected as the barriers are left often."
