"This hotel really did represent value for money on a weekend where the city was busy due to a famous comedian performing. The hotel is central and only a five minute walk from the train station. "The standard double room was much smaller than expected, and the bed was two singles pushed together with a thin double topper, which made the bed very uncomfortable and lumpy. We told reception after the first night and they arranged for a better topper to be put on. If the standard double was this small then the small double must have been tiny. "I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price.
