An extremely comfortable hotel, in a superb location for the city centre and entertainments such as the Crucible and cinemas, the room was spacious and with good facilities; excellent shower, good table space, large comfy bed. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts are great.

Really nice hotel and well located in the city. Parking is not on site so be mindful with bags (we don’t travel lite), staff are awesome and the facilities very good

Was in a great location for bars and restaurants- we had a lovely quiet room and a great nights sleep. Room was cosy and had everything we needed. Lovely bathroom and easy to use amenities in the room.

Breakfast wasn’t what I expected, hotel under refurb so restaurant closed and had to go elsewhere with a voucher but not a breakfast buffet which I was expecting.. Also in my room the extraction fan in bathroom didn’t turn off all night ( slightly lower humidity with door closed… Fridge didn’t work so had to throw food away.. also hotel tried to charge again even though I paid in advance last month!

Outstanding experience. Checked in after 8pm and we still made it to the swimming pool and got to use the steam room and spa facilities. Fantastic woman on reception, modern room, great views and lovely coffee! Couldn't have asked for a better time.

This used to mecure property and has recently been taken over don’t expect Mecure standards Breakfast was ok very slow on refilling hot choice so much so I gave up waiting for eggs and mushrooms. Food was barely warm such a shame as the breakfast used to be the highlight. Rooms are comfy with tea and coffee facilities parking hit and miss do you research? We found a car park about five minutes walk away £5.60 for 24 hours. One thing that this hotel has is an excellent location so yes we would use it again but not booking breakfast we go out.

Slightly tired room, could do with a spruce up, didn't think it was worth the cost (though it was the weekend of the snooker so there was presumably a surcharge) but it was perfectly fine and in a great location.
