Great place a staff. Super clean in the rooms. The pool area needed some just general pick up of towels left out from the day before and some trash around the jacuzzi. Think the filters need changed in the spa. Really liked the place and will be back. Dog and family friendly!

Check-in didn't go well. The person at the front desk wasn't helpful and kept repeating the same explanation, even after I told her I understood and asked her to proceed with the check-in. The furniture in the rooms is outdoor camping furniture that the hotel sells via a QR code. The furniture is incredibly uncomfortable. We stayed for 6 nights and wanted to hang out in the hotel room, play cards, and binge-watch shows while it rained. The camp couch is impossible to sit on; it's so uncomfortable and awkward. When we asked for an additional folding camp chair (only slightly more comfortable than the folding couch), we were told they didn't have any. Then the living room area of the room was incredibly dark. We asked if there was a missing standing lamp in the corner because the entire half of the room was unlit at night, and we were told that's how the rooms are designed. We ended up using our camp lantern to light the corner. On the bright side, the room was huge, the mattresses were comfortable, and the hot chocolate was delicious.

Bad decision to book this property. They don't have Microwave and Coffee machine in the room. There's no complimentary breakfast. Hotel room was not clean as there were many footmark and shoe marks in the room. Bathroom are very small and don't have any ventilation. Hotel reception was rude and straight up for saying "we don't want customers hanging around, get them out immediately, no bullsheet". There are many better options available in same area with lesser prices and more amenities. Never book this property as you will not get anything except bigger room size.

We really enjoyed our stay here overall. It's an older building that they've renovated and the rooms are excellent for adventuring and coming home after a long day outdoors! The staging and storage area for gear in our room was fantastic -- you could easily fit mountain bikes and other large things in there if necessary, but what I really loved was a huge countertop to lay out all of our stuff for easy packing and unpacking from one day to the next. The pegboard was also pretty brilliant and overall helpful. The hot tub was kept HOT and the deck area was spotless, with towels handy. Perfect for boiling away a long day of hiking and climbing. We did not love the bed, which we found VERY hard and unforgiving for these middle-aged bodies, but I realize that's pretty subjective. By the third night I was dreaming of a feather topper. The only other pain point was the lack of "rental" gear as advertised -- it's on their website that they have this available, but when I asked about it at check-in I was told this was not a thing they offered. It's still right there on the website? We'd return, but maybe with a mattress topper!

We checked into the hotel at around 11:00 pm with our children after a long day at Disneyland. Within 30 minutes our fire alarm started to malfunction. It produced a loud beep every 30 seconds or so like it was running low on batteries. My husband went down to the office to let them know, the front desk clerk came up, asked him to take it down, and gave us “her permission” to remove it completely as we had sleeping children in the room. We never received a replacement, nor heard another thing about it until they charged us for it. We couldn’t even address it in the moment before we left because they assured us our receipt would be emailed. We had no clue we were being held responsible for their faulty equipment and/or how their staff chose to handle the situation. Had we known this was going to be the result, we would’ve woken the kids and changed rooms rather than be charged for it being missing as if we stole it. We were not aware of any of this until we saw the charge on our card that was significantly more than our in room charges. When we attempted to question it and obtain our receipt that was never emailed, we could not get a hold of anyone to address the issue. Now we are left with filing a report with the credit card company. I wanted to give this place a great review. Besides this issue, it was great. However, to stay here, give them your credit card number for them to charge, and then not be available to address problems is terrible customer service.
