"A few takeways from our stay: Location: The stay is East of Zion so it is about 27-30 minutes to get to the Springdale entrance of Zion. Amenities: Restaurant on-site available for breakfast at 7 am, lunch, and dinner. S’mores are available at 7-9 pm. Coffee and to go snacks and sandwiches are available starting at 5 am. "Everyone was real sweet.. except management didn't have guts to talk to us in person.. we paid for 3 nights and never stayed. Wouldn't give partial refund. Breakfast was very good. Gift shop unique and reasonable. Beds were way to soft for me. I have a bad back. View is not as pictured. Run down farm in back."

"The Novel House was very convenient to Zion NP and all the restaurants in Springdale. The staff were very friendly and helpful with questions about the park and the town of Springdale. The rooms were wonderfully decorated in various themes of authors. Safety and security was excellent. Parking was right on site and readily available."

"This hotel is excellent in every possible way. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The location to the park simply can not be beat. You just walk to the visitor center and shuttles. There is the outfitters right there to rent Narrows gear and there is a brew pub right there to hang out and get a drink and food after spending the day in the park. "Overall, not a bad stay. This is not a 5 star hotel by any means. It is a little expensive, but you are located in a good area. THERE IS NO FREE BREAKFAST included. You have to go to their restaurant to eat and it will cost about $50 per couple. There are better places within walking distance. The room was nice, albeit a bit small, but was clean. The pool was nice and some days overcrowded with kids. I probably would stay there again, but would have to get a better price."

"Not sure what the hype is about this hotel; we were pretty disappointed for the cost. The location is good, but the rooms feel dated and drab. The air conditioning unit barely functioned, which made it difficult to get comfortable after a hot day in the park. There was also a strong smell of gas near the back units and laundry facility, likely emitting from the nearby tank. Overall, we were underwhelmed and would not recommend this hotel, unfortunately."

"My husband and had a lovely stay, quick check in. Lots of parking available, shuttle stop right in front of the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Great location, with about a 10 minute drive into Zion, and 10 minutes from the town of Hurricane. Pool was great, hot tub was super nice after hiking all day. Free breakfast was great to have. Also, really clutch to have laundry on site. Would definitely stay here again for the price and location."

"We had the hiker's room, and it was by far the smallest room I've ever been in (maybe 8x10 not including the bathroom). We had two twin beds with a dresser in between. There was about a foot and a half at the foot of the bed to the wall. We would have had more room without the dresser. Bathroom was also small. Walking around the property, it was pretty and well kept. Looked like all the units were small. Conveniently located. Easy walk to find food and close to park entrance."

The breakfast was bountiful and the staff were buzzing around working very hard to ensure that all folks had everything they needed. The location is beautiful and extremely convenient to the Zion shuttle. The pool are was well maintained and such a beautiful spot to sit an enjoy the views of the mountains all around you."

"I stayed here solo in the Shooting Star bungalow, and I enjoyed it. Staff was professional and helpful, and the room was immaculate. It is a massive place, though pretty sparsely filled in the Monday in June I was there. The sheer number of tents, cabins and bungalows does make it feel a bit less special.
