"This place is reasonably priced ! Clean comfortable beds , the staff are very helpful. 5 girls go every year for the weekend away and it never disappoints. "The room was clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. Our room was very dated and in need of some general upkeep. The free breakfast was very underwhelming. So much that on day 2 we walked over to McDonalds next door for breakfast. The Wheel and Anchor restaurant is no longer open."

"The b&b was spotless, it was very clean and well maintained. Peter and Colin were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was delicious it was prepared by Colin. We are vegetarian and my husband has to have a gluten free diet. Colin baked us both scones from scratch for breakfast then an egg and a crepe with a filling. He adapted the breakfast to suit the needs of all of his guests some were lactose intolerant and some were vegan. I would definitely go back and I have recommended them to our friends"

"Very-very friendly and attentive staff. A decent quick, simple -almost grab and good- breakfast, which is always a nice to have option when traveling, Loved the new little robotic pancake maker they have now. The room was very clean, the thing against it is the carpet, even when you can see the staff did a good cleaning it, it still made the room smell very musty, I wish the rooms were renovated and floors changet to modern ceramic tiles which is now the trend and more hygienic. The bed mattress was amazing, but the rest of the furniture has also seen way better days. Yes. It needs some renovations and it will become a place with 5 stars rateting soon."
