"The reception, house and dining staff were lovely.
However the room was dated and in need of some investment in the building fabric. Windos propt open with wooden dowels, taps you have to rotate a few times before you get any meaningful water out (both hot and cold). The mixer tap in the bath for showers had a nut missing to hold the handle from coming off in your hand. Same problem with getting water as per the sink. No thermostat control so temperature fluctuates constantly. Fan in the room...

"The room was good in size and decor , garden room suite.
We were on the ground floor the room above us you could hear everything even the person snoring , the floor must have been floorboards and we could hear everything, This woke us up and continued throughout the morning!"

"The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near."

"The accommodation was clean and spacious. The decor is quite dark, but probably because of the dark beams. The welcome in the pub wasn’t great, we weren’t acknowledged whilst standing with our bags in the pub. I understand the stafff are busy, but a simple’hello, we’ll be with you in a minute’ would be nice. We didn’t see any members of staff as the breakfast is a completely self service buffet. "It is a comfortable hotel with a slightly old fashioned feel, but it is a historic building and the staff are cheerful and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the heavy curtains to cut out the sunlight. The stairs to the second floor were a bit tricky for an older guest when carrying luggage, although staff would have helped. I would certainly return."

"The Corners Inn is a hidden gem. Fantastic old bar and dining room with real character. High quality breakfast - you can tell real care has been taken sourcing ingredients. Bedrooms are in a new annex, so spacious and quiet. Would love to find an excuse to go back!"
