"The room was beautiful and spotless however some of the furniture was a little worn but it added character. They had the tea and coffee box well stocked and not with just the standard tea and coffee but with the flavoured tea and decaf coffee plus they had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as if you had forgotten anything you could ask for a guest pack (toothpaste, toothbrush, razors etc). "Have stayed before and was very pleased. Lovely big rooms which are clean. Staff really pleasant at check in. Issues were only 1 towell in the bathroom in a room for 2 people so had to search around and a spare was in the wardrobe, no shower gel in the shower. "The food in the restaurant was very good-nicely cooked. The room upgrade was very good too, with views over Bute Park. What was not so good was having to shower in the bath-no walk-in shower..very tricky for an 80 year old like myself..we had tried for a disabled room, but none were available for both the nights we were there. I think one should be warned about this-outdated and unexpected."

"Location was the only good thing about the hotel. Disappointed from the minute we arrived. The main entrance was more like a fire exit/side door out of a night club. "As two young girls who booked this we didn’t spend one night here and ended up booking another hotel as an emergency. There’s no parking on site even though it says there is. You have to pay £30 a night at a different car park. The key cards are kept in a paper box labeled ‘key cards’ on the desk. The lift was crashing and scraping the whole way up and the hotel is not as advertised online. I have requested my money back but the hotel is not responding to Expedia."
