"We used the Brit hotel as a base for our trip to Normandy. It’s in a good location for visiting all the historical sites. We stayed in the family room and there was plenty of room for us all (2 adults and 2 teenage boys). A kettle and a few coffee sachets were provided but no cups and milk. However, there was a small supermarket 2 mins away so we purchased cups/milk from there. We didn’t eat at the hotel. So I can not comment on the food. Breakfast was €14 each so again we purchased croissants,...

"The hotel is dated and looks a little worn. But the best part was the incredible staff that helped make sure our stay was great. Without the staff this would have been a 3 star review. "

"Beautiful location. Very nice manager. Wonderful updated, large room. Breakfast has many choices and delicious French custom in a nice white linen dining room. Close to visit all of the D Day beaches. Make sure to reserve a parking space. You will need it. "

The restaurant is closed at weekends which was disappointing so we bought pizzas from the take away machine next door and sat in the hotel's social area with a few beers! Our dog was made mist welcome too!!"

"The location is safe and quaint. It’s staff and very polite and helpful. It’s very clean and the breakfast options are very good. The room is large and everything you need. They need to advertise their air conditioning is season dependent as when I went it was hot and the room air con was turned off and I was told it wouldn’t work until 1 June. Therefore I had to sleep with the window open which meant a lot of noise from different things. I perhaps would not have chosen the hotel had I known...

"We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Le Bayeux. It was located in a perfect part of town, the service was wonderful (in English), the breakfast was delicious and we had a lovely stay in Bayeux. Parking was on the street, but not a problem. We were in a room that could accommodate 3, but were only 2. "
