"The room was reasonably clean but the halls smelled of mildew. The staff as nice as could be but the breakfast was minimal.The location is terrific and the views lovely. All told, despite the limitations I would come again for the central location and the courtesy of the staff."

"Excellent location to the Natural Bridge. Everything else is good, not great, with friendly staff. The breakfast was overpriced for the limited selection buffet style. They didn't even have basic toasts or bananas. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast there at all. "

"Loved this place! It’s a perfect option if you don’t want to pay the high price at the Homestead. You can walk to the homestead and still enjoy the restaurants and most of the features of the homestead. The staff was so sweet and we loved the hot homemade breakfast!"

"This property rates at the TOP of the list. Its as elegant as the Greenbriar and Homestead in terms of the property and rooms. It is stunning. Martha is a wonderful host and
she is so elegant in her special touches....antiques, crystal, place settings, even in the room crystal glasses with little doilies on top with crystals weighted down. Magnificent Crystal Chandeliers. Historic touches everywhere. You will want to come back! "
