"Room and hotel were super clean. Great room/bath. My only complaint was check in. Got to the hotel at five o’clock on Friday night and there was no one at the desk. That seemed odd. There was the typical “stepped away “ sign on the counter and a number to call. I called and it rang about 15 times, stopped ringing, then went through the call options and started to ring again. "One of our rooms was spacious, clean and all mechanical working properly. The second room, which I stayed in, had a space heater on the floor and a window air conditioner (which was noisy and not keeping the room cool). Can tell attempted to updated the room, but it is an older resort and they took a cheap approach when remodeling the older rooms. "The Lakeside B&B is a wonderful place to stay in Florence, WI. Just the view of Fisher Lake from the wrap around veranda makes me want to come back. It is very cozy and welcoming with comfortable bedrooms and wonderful community spaces with a game room, enclosed sitting area and eating area with a fridge and pizza oven. The owners are friendly and make a great waffle breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back."
